| The department enjoys a fine reputation
for scholarship both as individuals and as teams and research centers.
The majority of our scholarship emerges from collaborations. The Center
for Watershed Stewardship is a partnership between ourselves and
the School of Forest Resources; the Hamer
Center for Community Design is a partnership with the Department
of Architecture, as is the Stuckeman Center
for Design Computing; the Center
for Studies in Landscape History has collaborators in History
and Geography; the Imaging Systems Laboratory,
founded at the University of Illinois, enjoys numerous partners in
Psychology, Silviculture, Economics, Urban Planning, and Civil Engineering. |
