Kelly Kelly has been with the department for 22 years! She came to work for
the Department of Landscape Architecture in September of 1984.
Kelly's many responsibilities in the department include working with
the students on course registration, student advising, overseeing
curriculum and graduation requirements, career day preparations and
education abroad administration including the processing of visa
documents and acting as a liaison with students and administration.
"It's a wonderful place to work, and it's a true joy working with the
students in the department. You won't find a more close-knit department at Penn State,"
says Kelly.
Outside of the office, Kelly has been married for 23 years and has 2
daughters, Kiley and Karley. She and her husband, Harold, enjoy
spending their free time watching their youngest daughter, Karley, play
fastpitch softball. She is the starting third baseman for the 2005
PIAA AA State Champion Bald Eagle Area High School Lady Eagles softball
team. In the summer they are busy with Karley's summer softball
schedule, travelling to tournaments and games throughout the state of
PA. Also, Kelly is the elected tax collector for her township, and she
and Harold serve as ASA Softball Junior Olympic Deputy Commissioners for District VIII.
When Kelly isn't at a softball game, she can be found at home spending
time with her family, two dogs, Oakie and Riley, and cat, Kalie.
