Brian Cornell is a licensed landscape architect at RTKL Associates in Washington, DC. Prior to his time at RTKL, he worked as a landscape architect and planner providing master planning and neighborhood design services for Navy and Marine Corps clients and developers in Montgomery and Frederick Counties, Maryland and Sussex County Delaware, respectively. Since joining RTKL Brian has managed and implemented hospitality projects on Maryland's eastern shore, retail projects in the Middle East, multiple embassies in Washington, DC for foreign nations, new US embassies in Africa and the Middle East. Currently Brian is implementing the landscape for the United States Capitol Visitor Center, providing landscape design and construction design services for a new Veterans Administration Hospital in North Las Vegas and managing a public art and September 11th memorial open space design project in Arlington, Virginia.
