Golumbic Scholarship
Students in the Department of Landscape Architecture are eligible for the Reuben and Gladys Golumbic Scholarship Award.  This award is presented annually to up to three students in the College of Arts and Architecture who have "...demonstrated superior design, humanistic, or performance records and who have proven their potential for significant contribution to the Arts and Humanities."  Nominations are made by the various faculties in the college and the awards are chosen by the members of the College of Arts and Architecture Scholarships and Awards Committee.  (Each Award $3,904)

William E. and Julia Nelo Clark Excellence Scholarship
The award guidelines state that, "Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Arts and Architecture who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success." The criteria for choosing the recipient for this award are rather open but they clearly focus on academic success as opposed to creative achievement.  This endowment produces adequate income to fund two awards annually — one award for each of two departments in the college, rotating through the seven departments in alphabetical order.  

We do award the Clark Scholarship this year — we award it again in Spring 2003 for the 03-04 academic year.
