About
the M.L.A. Program
From its inception in 1986, our graduate
program has focused on a single mission: offering advanced scholarly
inquiry to students
who already hold a professional design degree. The two-year graduate
curriculum leads to a post-professional Master of Landscape Architecture
(M.L.A.) degree.
Students who hold a bachelor’s degree
in a field other than landscape architecture are served by our
combined B.L.A./M.L.A. degree. In a curriculum of approximately 4 years’ duration,
these students obtain a professionally accredited Bachelor of
Landscape Architecture (B.L.A.) degree, plus the post-professional
M.L.A.
degree.
