Selection Process
The quality of the creative work and essays will be determinants
in the decision. Space available in the program will determine
the number of students who will be offered admission. Submissions
will be received anytime between January 1 and February 15 (if February
15 falls on a Saturday, submissions will be accepted until
5:00 p.m. the following Monday). Students who are accepted
will enter the program in the following fall semester.
Students selected via this process must
understand that the bachelor of landscape architecture professional
degree program requires a minimum of four years of design
in studio courses in addition to at least one year of previous
college-level education. It is not possible to accelerate
the curriculum sequence.
Students who have submitted the advanced
standing/transfer requirements will be notified of the decision
in writing by April 1. Students who have been accepted and
offered the opportunity to enter landscape architecture will
be informed of the procedures to follow.
NOTE: Students receiving
favorable consideration from the faculty review committee
must meet the minimum qualifications for admission to the
University. The decision to admit the applicant is made by
the Admissions Office. |
